BackPack Part 3

I know, I’m late. A lot has gone on in my personal life which has put these posts on hold for a bit. The biggest event in the last week — a new baby in the family. My brother and sister-in-law had a little boy last week and I’ve been helping the new mommy & daddy and the new big sister. But, on to part 3 in my BackPack series…

*****************************************************

I wanted to discuss some uses of BackPack, some may seem obvious, some not so obvious.

Personal Uses:
1. Saving files to transport to different computers
2. Saving lists of things to do
3. Keeping your personal calendar
4. Maintaining notes that can be accessed anywhere

Family Uses:
1. Keeping a grocery list that anyone can access from any computer (I know I’ve remembered something at work then forgotten to add it to the list when I get home)
2. Keeping a running to-do list that can be accessed by the whole family
3. Sharing pictures
4. Sharing files
5. Keeping your holiday lists together
6. Plan a party

Employer/Employee Uses:
1. Share files among departments
2. Keep a department/company calendar
3. Track tasks, notes, progress on projects you’re working on
4. Keep to-do lists so the entire department can watch progress

Volunteer Organizations:
1. Share files
2. Track project progress
3. Keep a calendar for volunteers
4. You can make your page public and allow the community to access it

Virtual Assistants:
1. Use with your clients to share information
2. Share your calendar with clients so they know your availability
3. Transfer files between yourself and clients
4. Enter notes on projects to do and status that your clients can work with

I know there are tons more uses for this service, use your imagination or let me know how you use BackPack.

Till later…
