Years ago someone recommended this open source program to me.  I used it regularly then but stopped.  I need to start again.  It loads a small program on your computer that pops up reminders to take a break.  It’s completely customizable so you can set the reminder times and types yourself.  The best part, it gives you exercise ideas to do during the breaks.  (It’s not set-up to remind you to do “water cooler breaks” although you could use them — more for stretch breaks.)  If you’re in the middle of an important piece of work or doing something you can “snooze” the reminder for a more convenient time.

Of course, my chiropractors LOVED when I was paying attention to this…my body did too. :)
